An exploration of civic buildings in Dublin, re-presenting them through obstructed and indirect fragments, seen through objects and surfaces in the immediate environment of the buildings. The resulting two-channel video acts as a sequence of oblique and disrupted postcards of the city. It suggests disparities between idealised spaces and their reality, and undercuts the place of these symbolic and iconographic structures in both the physical and psychological consciousness of the city.
