Design for a tapestry vitrine
A bespoke vitrine to house a tapestry by Irish artist William Scott was fabricated in birch plywood with UV-resistant perspex, with carefully positioned ventilation holes at its base. The aesthetic of the plywood compliments the tapestry design, produced by the Edinburgh Weavers in the late 1950s to Scott’s design.
